Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Level III or higher NICU experience of 2 or more years preferred
* Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on patient acuity
* Work on a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU unit on Floor 6
* Day shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 respiratory therapists with a tech
* Night shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 respiratory therapists
* Every other weekend required
* Float to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) as needed
* Utilize Cerner EMR system
* Must be detail oriented and organized
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
* Required certification: NRP
* Preferred certifications: Stable and NIC-RNC

Facility:

This facility is an 815-bed acute care hospital recognized as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care. It is the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in western North Carolina. The facility offers a wide range of specialties including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, women's services, and behavioral health, and is recognized among the nation's best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, and Healthgrades. The children's hospital component features 96 beds dedicated to infants and children, including the 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU, supported by 30 pediatric subspecialists.
