RN - Neurosciences

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Neurosciences unit located on the 6th floor of the A Tower, Main Campus
* Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 on day shift with 7:1 stretch on night shift
* Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC
* Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion and IV starts
* Utilize standard med-surge equipment and Cerner EMR system
* Float to other med-surge floors as needed
* Required certifications: ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale
* Neuro experience preferred
* Outgoing and self-motivated personality preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
