Opportunity:

RN/RT - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Weekday and weekend call requirements
* 1-2 call shifts during the week, end of shift until the following morning
* 1 weekend per month on call, end of shift Friday through Monday morning
* 30-minute response time required for call
* Call team consists of 2 Techs and 2 RNs
* Holiday call only, every other holiday
* Self-scheduling with minor adjustments to fill gaps
* No floating required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience required; Cath Lab experience required, Cath Lab and IR experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Perform procedures including LHC/RHC, diagnostic and interventional cases, IABPs, Rotablator, STEMIs/MIs, pacemakers, gen changes, MICRAs, staged/protected PCIs, and CTOs
* IR experience preferred; procedures include coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, central lines, ports, G/GJ tubes, IVC filters, tunneled and temporary dialysis catheters, and clot management
* Hybrid room experience preferred; procedures include AAA grafts, peripheral/AO runoffs, and fistulograms
* Each room operates with 3-person teams
* 7-14 cases per day
* RN responsibilities include reading/interpreting EKGs, circulating, sedating, and transporting patients
* RT responsibilities include scrubbing and panning simultaneously and room turnover; experience with Manifold preferred
* EMR: EPIC
* IV Pump: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* Hemodynamic monitoring: Merge
* All C-arms: GE
* Injector: MedRad
* RN required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* RT required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS certification, State License
* RN must complete MHS Tele test prior to arrival
* Scrubs and lead provided; extended sizing available upon request
* Free parking on site

Facility:

This facility is a 107-bed, non-trauma designated hospital featuring a Cath Lab, IR room, and Hybrid room. The department provides comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology services with robust 24/7 support including phlebotomy, radiology technologists, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage. Cardiologists and IR physicians are present during the day and available on call as needed.
