Opportunity:

Pediatric Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* 6-month contract with possibility of extension
* Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; off Thursdays and weekends)
* No on-call required
* No weekend shifts required
* Work in a busy pediatric clinic environment serving adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients
* Approximately 24 patient visits per day
* Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT designations are not accepted
* Minimum 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Required skills include: vital signs, hearing screening, vision testing, recording history/medications/allergies, nebulizer treatments, immunizations, specimen labeling, throat specimens, urine UA/clean catch, venipuncture, blood glucose via glucometer, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, telephone triage, TB test administration, follow-up phone calls, rooming patients, and suture removal
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* BLS certification required
* Scrub color: any color
* Free parking available on site
* Will remain at the same location every day; no floating between units required

The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and provides free on-site parking for staff.
