Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
* Will consider 48-hour work weeks
* Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
* 47-bed department on home unit 5SE with possibility to float to any med/surg unit on any campus
* Care for medical surgical and surgical oncology patients
* Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues including physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
* Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise using age and population specific standards
* Equipment utilized includes EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry
* Minimum 2 years of recent medical surgical experience in a larger hospital (200+ beds) at a level 2 or higher trauma center required
* Travel experience required unless candidate has multiple years of experience in a large level 1 facility
* Surgical oncology patient experience preferred but not required
* EPIC experience required
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Active ND or Compact RN License required
* Scrubs: Navy Blue
* Orientation includes 1 day lead center training and 2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit with a preceptor
* Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
