Open Position: RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2239.72

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Flex day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Travelers will start on Wednesdays
* During orientation week, travelers on a 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
* Primarily adult medical/surgical patients with occasional pediatric patients
* Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
* Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed
* May be asked to act as a Preceptor
* Gain valuable Critical Access Hospital experience
* Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
* Charge RN experience preferred
* Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License required
* Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)
* Meditech experience preferred
* Personal vehicle required - no public transportation available and nearest major airport is approximately two hours away
* Traveler is responsible for securing their own housing accommodations

This facility is a 25-bed independent nonprofit Critical Access Hospital serving a historic rural region of Vermont. The facility provides a broad range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services.
