Opportunity:

Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* 6-week schedules with variable shift times - days or evenings depending on department needs
* Weekend rotation varies based on need
* No on-call required
* Holiday shifts completed in rotation with other technologists
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* Average of 25 to 30 scans per day
* Work across outpatient, inpatient, ED/ICU/MedSurg, and operating room settings
* Primarily adult and geriatric patient population with some pediatric patients
* Perform fluoroscopy, C-arm in OR, orthopedic and ortho trauma imaging, ICU, MedSurg, and ER imaging including chest X-rays, abdominal scans, and vascular imaging
* OR/C-arm experience required
* Fluoroscopy experience required - candidates without fluoroscopy experience but strong overall skills may be submitted to manager for approval
* EMR: Cerner
* PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
* Equipment includes Siemens, T-Rad with Siemens ART PIX, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-arm, OEC C-arm, GE AMX 4 portable, and Mini C-arm for orthopedic scans
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)
* Maine state license required
* Scrubs: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed

Facility:

This 89-bed licensed teaching facility provides a wide range of imaging services across multiple care settings including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, ICU, MedSurg, and operating room environments. The department features three imaging rooms and a variety of modern equipment to support diverse patient needs. A lead technologist and internal transport are available for support, with a radiologist on site three days per week and available remotely the remaining days.
