Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
* No guaranteed hours and no on-call responsibilities
* 24 hours of operation Monday through Friday
* 15-bed unit consisting of 3 Step Down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
* Patient ratios of 1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step Down ICU
* Provide primary nursing care including telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and fingerstick blood sugar checks
* Utilize Meditech charting system, Pyxis medication dispensing, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment
* At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year required
* Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
* ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification preferred
* Required to float to all acute units in house including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER
* Scrubs required as dress code
* Active State of Hawaii license required by start of assignment
