Job Details:

* Multiple shift time options available: 6:00 AM?6:30 PM, 9:00 AM?9:30 PM, 11:00 AM?11:30 PM, 12:00 PM?12:00 AM, 3:00 PM?3:30 AM, and 6:00 PM?6:30 AM
* Mid/evening contracts are considered 12:00 PM?3:00 PM start times
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday coverage as needed per unit
* Requested time off up to 7 days may be approved; additional days require nurse manager email
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience required for travel positions
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for RNs
* Patient census averages 90?110 patients daily in a 32-bed unit
* Common patient types include general ED complaints, abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, behavioral health patients, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, MOAB 12 or CPI
* General ED clinical skills required
* Soft skills required: team player, organized, strong communication, and time management
* EMR system: EPIC
* IV pump: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* Scrub color: Any
* No floating required
* Free parking available

This healthcare facility operates a busy 32-bed emergency department seeing 90?110 patients daily. The department is well-supported with PCT staff, a receptionist/HUC available 24/7, a dedicated charge nurse, respiratory therapy 24/7, hospitalist coverage 24/7, and ED physicians and mid-level providers on staff. The facility fosters a collaborative unit culture with strong interdisciplinary support to ensure high-quality patient care.
