Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment - 6 weeks
* High volume unit supporting 1,000+ deliveries per month
* Day and night shifts available with alternating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit with a team of 150 staff members
* Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, and RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* SVE competency and C-section circulation experience required
* 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN - must be included in submission packet
* Experience with equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high volume unit preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable
* No RTO or special scheduling requests considered
* 48 hours required

This healthcare facility houses a robust Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor, equipped with modern technology and a large, experienced team of 150 staff members. The unit is a high-volume Level IV designation capable of supporting over 1,000 deliveries per month and is staffed around the clock with charge nurses and RNs maintaining optimal patient ratios. The facility utilizes advanced medical equipment and a modern EMR system to support comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.
