Job Details:

* Work weekend shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Full-time position
* EPIC charting experience required with a minimum of two years
* CVOR experience required with a minimum of two years
* Perform cardiovascular (open-heart) cases with ability to support general OR as needed
* Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations
* Provide routine and complex care with the ability to plan long-range goals
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
* BLS certification required (AHA only)
* Active RN license in the state of TX or compact license required
