Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2269.84

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele (ED Boarders/Observation)

Job Details:

* Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12)
* Potential to accommodate block scheduling, but not guaranteed
* Weekend coverage includes 4 weekend shifts (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays) in a 6-week period, along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
* No time off requests accepted from 12/15/2026 through 1/5/2027; holiday coverage expected
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
* Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
* Patient ratio experience: 5 to 6 patients
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
* Active Kentucky or compact nursing license required at time of submission
* Epic charting experience required
* Scrubs must be navy blue with no agency or brand logos
* Nails must be less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails required for direct patient care (polish acceptable)
* No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* No cafeteria available; refrigerator and microwave provided on-site
* Potential to float between Edgewood and Florence campuses as needed, as well as to Observation, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Tele units
* Support ED boarders across the system patients waiting for an inpatient bed and requiring inpatient care
* Float to observation units when ED boarders are not sufficient
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, CVA management, ER holding, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, neuro stepdown, PCA, PICC line management, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post hemodialysis management, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Special equipment includes lift equipment, iPad for communication, and pacemaker interrogation
