Job Details:

* 13-week temporary contract position
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* 40 expected hours per week
* On-call responsibilities include one weekday per week from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
* On-call cases limited to HIDA, GI Bleed, Brain Death, and Lung studies
* One holiday on-call likely over the course of the contract
* Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET as needed for direct and indirect patient care
* Indirect patient care includes patient reminder calls
* Perform 10+ nuclear medicine studies per day and 12-14 PET/CT studies per day
* Top procedures include whole body bone scans, lung scans, gastric emptying, renal scans, HIDA scans, thyroid uptake and scan, thyroid whole body scans, DaTscan brain scans, lympho scans, parathyroid scans, FDG PET, and specialty PET
* Most common equipment: GE and Siemens
* Required certifications: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB
* Must be proficient in general nuclear medicine as well as PET
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3-5+ years preferred
* Grey scrubs required as dress code
* Parking available at $74 per month

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging department providing a wide range of diagnostic services. The department handles high patient volumes across both general nuclear medicine and PET/CT modalities, utilizing modern GE and Siemens equipment. Staff work collaboratively across modalities to deliver quality direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment.
