Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
* Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* Required to float when needed
* Nurse to patient ratio is 5:1 but can be 6:1 on occasion
* Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
* Care for patients with MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med/surg overflow
* Manage cardiac drips (no nitrates administered)
* Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
* Assess and address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Provide patient and family education and identify resources as needed
* 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* BLS certification from AHA required
* ACLS certification from AHA required
* RN License in state of employment or compact required
* Temp to perm possibility
