Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department
* Every 4th weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Float between St. Luke's and Marion freestanding Emergency Department campuses
* 34-bed unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
* Mixed patient population with drips and titrations
* Scrub colors required: Black, Navy Blue, Caribbean Blue (solids only)
* 24 months of Emergency Department experience required
* Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months
* EPIC EMR experience required
* All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
* De-escalation certification (CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA) highly preferred and must be obtained during onboarding if not already active
* Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
* Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room/Emergency Department required
* Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
* Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
