Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Schedule released 6 weeks at a time
* Holiday expectations are unit dependent
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience and required skills
* Work with patient types including medical/surgical, critical care, emergency, and primarily adult/geriatric patients with possible pediatric and infant care
* Patient assignments determined by census and acuity using a points system
* Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and Washington state license
* Required skills include basic RT skills, critical care experience, and experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, and HFNC
* Experience with nursery helpful but not required if NRP certified
* EMR: EPIC experience required
* Equipment includes Getinge Servo-u ventilators and Pyxis medication dispensing
* Assigned to specific departments per shift but expected to cover all departments within the facility
* Will not float to other facilities
* Orientation includes 1 day hospital orientation and 2-3 precepted shifts
* Scrub color: Any solid color with matching top and bottom
* Free parking available in designated areas

Facility:

This smaller community hospital is a 123-bed facility operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center. The facility serves a diverse patient population including medical/surgical, critical care, and emergency cases, with a strong emphasis on adult and geriatric care. The respiratory therapy team is supported by an RT manager and team lead, and staff work collaboratively across all departments within the facility.
