Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg / Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

* Every third weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Must be willing to float across all campuses
* Patient ratios of 4-5:1
* 15-bed unit providing all types of med surg care
* Experience with heparin drips required
* Remote telemetry/tele tech unit monitoring
* Navy blue solid scrubs required
* Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming holidays unless unit is closed
* Minimum 24 months of Med Surg / Med Surg Tele experience required
* No first-time travelers accepted - must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months
* Proficiency caring for all patient types with a variety of med surg patients required
* EPIC experience required
* Telemetry/cardiac background highly preferred
* Recent/current charge experience required
* Preceptor experience nice to have
* Skills checklist specific to Med Surg / Med Surg Tele required
* Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required
* Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within 24 months preferred
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC)
