Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour weekly shift options available
* Facility will allow 48 hours straight time
* Weekend shifts required
* Self-scheduling available
* Float required within scope of practice, with brief orientation provided on new unit
* Patient ratios of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 30-bed unit with a daily census of 24
* Patients include adult and geriatric age groups
* 2 years of experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Patient ratio experience of 6 required
* Required skills include: Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Chest tubes, Colostomy/ileostomy management, CVA care, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Insulin, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Surgical drains, Telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote), Total joint replacement, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, and Wound Care/Wound Vac
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* 12 orientation hours required
* 50-mile local radius enforced, locals not accepted
