Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist
Job Details:
* Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions
* Serve as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups
* Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas that require attention
* Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients
* Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques
* Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties
* Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
* Supervise assigned assistants
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required for those who obtained licensure on or after January 2007
* Two years of occupational therapy experience preferred
* Active Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
