Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

* Weekends and holidays required
* No on-call requirements
* Perform basic treatment therapy including administration of aerosolized medication via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
* Provide CPT, incentive spirometry, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and arteriocentesis
* Treat patients across multiple age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 1 year of experience required, travel experience preferred
* Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications
* Active compact or Tennessee license required
* Epic charting system experience required within the last 18 months and must be clearly documented on profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
* Required skills include adult critical care, aerosol setup, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, metered dose inhaler (MDI), tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and sputum specimen collection
