Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* On-call requirement of 1 weekday night per week and every 4th weekend
* On-call rotation required for holidays and weekends
* 8 to 9 hour shifts with cyclic scheduling
* 1 week orientation Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Department covers Radiology - General X-Ray and Ultrasound
* General ultrasound only - no vascular or echo studies performed
* Perform imaging for adults and pediatric patients including biopsies
* 2 ultrasound scanners/rooms in department
* X-ray experience required
* EMR system: EPIC; PACS system: McKesson
* Equipment used: Siemens ultrasound scanners
* Radiology supervisor present on each shift
* Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, BLS
* Ultrasound certificate and ARRT both required
* Driver's license required at submittal
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments - refusal to remove nails will result in contract termination
* BSN not required
* Acute care setting
* Trauma Level 3 facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates at a Trauma Level 3 designation and provides comprehensive radiology services including general X-ray and ultrasound imaging. The department is equipped with Siemens ultrasound technology and utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records alongside McKesson PACS for imaging management. A dedicated radiology supervisor is present on each shift to support clinical staff and maintain quality patient care standards.
