Job Details:

* Four 9-hour day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday with start times dependent on daily assignment
* Pre-op RN shifts run 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 2 RNs in pre-op per day
* PACU RN shifts run 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM with 3 RNs in PACU per day
* Procedure RN shifts run 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM with 2 to 4 RNs per day depending on the day
* One overnight call shift per week beginning at the end of your 9-hour shift until 7:00 AM; if not working on a call day, call begins at 5:00 PM
* Two weekend call shifts during a 6-week period running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM; may be two Saturdays, two Sundays, or a Saturday and Sunday
* Call requirements may be less but will not exceed 2 (24-hour) weekend call shifts and 6 weeknight shifts in a 6-week scheduling period
* Must have prior endoscopy nursing experience
* Perform procedures including adult and pediatric EGD, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, EBUS, bronchoscopy, ION navigational bronchoscopy, esophageal/duodenal/colonic/Axios stent placements, PEG placement, tracheostomy placement, pulmonary cryo therapy, capsule endoscopy, and foreign body removal
* Pediatric procedures include EGD, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy for patients ages 1 through 18
* Equipment includes Olympus Scopes, ERBE, Medivator, ION, Boston Scientific, and Cook
* EMR system: Cerner
* Patient ratios are variable based on case volumes
* Pediatric endoscopy experience preferred
* Pulmonary endoscopy experience preferred
* Endoscopy tech experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and active NC or compact state nursing license
* Dress code: Green surgical scrubs provided; Navy Blue scrubs are also acceptable
* Block scheduling is not accommodated
* No floating required unless traveler volunteers
