Opportunity:

RN - ICU Critical Care

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three days per week
* No block scheduling available at this time
* Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* No on-call requirements
* Must have 2+ years of ICU RN experience
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
* Virginia or Compact nursing license required
* Epic EMR proficiency required
* Critical Care/Step-Down/Progressive Care experience preferred
* Patient population includes mostly adults and teens
* Unit consists of 4 beds with a 1:4 patient ratio
* May be floated to Med Surg unit, which is a 24-bed unit with a 6:1 ratio
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue

This facility operates a Critical Care Step-Down unit dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment. The unit maintains a low patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure attentive and thorough care. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and offers a structured environment with clear expectations for scheduling, floating, and patient care responsibilities.
