Job Details:

* Work in a 2-lab Interventional Radiology department handling 5-10 cases per day on average
* Shift options include 2x10-hour shifts and 2x8-hour shifts, or all 8-hour shifts; hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Team scheduling posted 17 days prior for 6-week blocks
* Weeknight call required 1-2 days per week
* On-call every third weekend
* On-call every other holiday
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Manage conscious sedation with autonomy, including charting, circulating, and pre/post procedural care for IR patients
* Work with inpatient, outpatient, and emergent patients including Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, Lines, Tubes, Visceral, Para, Thora, Biopsies, drain insertions, chest tubes, CT, and US areas
* Moderate sedation experience required
* Float to Radiology pre/post as needed
* Utilize EPIC for charting and Philips Xper (Hemo) and Siemens C-Arm equipment
* Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Bring your own lock for locker and hospital-designated shoes required
* One week of orientation including classroom and lab training
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* BSN not required; active nursing license required

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering comprehensive interventional radiology services. The department operates with a highly collaborative team environment, including IR Technologists, a Team Lead present and working in the lab, and an Intensivist MD in-house 24/7 with IR always available. The facility utilizes advanced technology and maintains strong leadership support to ensure high-quality patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergent settings.
