Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or evening shift hours from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
* 10-hour shifts available
* Work every other weekend, including both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call required
* Block scheduling not required
* Patient ratio of 7
* May float to sister hospital emergency department to perform the same duties if overstaffed
* Work in Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room department
* Conduct crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatric patients
* Complete evaluations for level of risk for danger to self, danger to others, or grave disability
* Perform biopsychosocial assessments and mental health assessments
* Provide crisis intervention and case management services
* Serve patients experiencing mental health illness and substance use disorder
* Must hold full independent clinical licensure - associate license will not suffice
* Required licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
* Hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* 2 professional references required covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and dual-designated Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds.
