Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Examine patients with breathing issues, analyze blood and sputum, and conduct lung capacity tests
* Provide oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve patient breathing
* Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe independently
* Provide emergency care including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
* Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning
* Educate patients and families on disease management and proper use of home equipment
* NICU and Emergency Department experience required
