Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week
* Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on need
* Float to other units may be required based on census needs
* Staff will only float to units they are qualified for with demonstrated competencies
* Patient ratios of 4 patients per nurse across days, nights, and weekends
* Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
* Will consider first-time travelers based on experience
* Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
* Omnicell medication system used on unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI/MAB, TNCC
* Community hospital experience preferred
* 6 weekend shifts per contract required
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a busy emergency department with a daily census of 145 and approximately 150 patient visits per day across 23 rooms and 39 beds. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support.
