Opportunity:

RN - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

* Night shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
* No guaranteed hours and no on-call responsibilities
* 24-hour operation Monday through Friday
* 15-bed unit consisting of 3 Step Down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
* Patient ratios of 1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step Down ICU
* Primary nursing care responsibilities including telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and fingerstick blood sugar monitoring
* Utilize Meditech charting system, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment
* At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year required
* Progressive care and telemetry experience preferred
* ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certification preferred
* Must be willing to float to all acute units including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER
* Dress code: Scrubs
* Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
