Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment of 48 hours over 6 weeks
* Start date 5-7 days from offer
* No RTO or special scheduling permitted
* Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume)
* Day and night shifts available with team including Charge Nurse Coordinators, team leads, Advanced Paramedics, Emergency Department Technicians, Mental Health Support Coordinators, and Secretaries
* Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring and interpretation
* Operate equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications for RN: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI (CPI required by 9/30)
* Dress code: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms; appropriate colored T-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
* Must demonstrate adaptability and be a team player
* High pressure environment experience preferred

The department operates around the clock with specialized team members across all shifts, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment equipped with advanced medical technology. The facility is designed to handle high patient volumes while maintaining strong safety and care standards for its patient population.
