Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Outpatient and inpatient care settings serving primarily adult and geriatric patients with very few pediatric cases
* Average of 90 patients seen per day across three linacs
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday shifts completed on a rotation with other technologists
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* 4-week schedules provided to the best of ability with specific shift times varying based on need
* Float coverage across linacs as needed
* Work with three Varian TrueBeam Linacs and one Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator
* EMR system: Mosaiq
* Equipment: Varian Linacs
* Preferred experience with Mosaiq and TrueBeam
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (T)
* Maine State license for Radiation Therapy required
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or provided by facility if needed
* Free parking available

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center equipped to receive air flight transports, serving approximately two-thirds of the state and functioning as the closest trauma center within a two-hour radius. The facility is also a Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds, offering a comprehensive range of services to a broad patient population. The radiation therapy department is equipped with advanced technology and operates a high-volume program across multiple treatment platforms.
