Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 36 hours per week on day shifts
* Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week
* 8 to 12 days of call per month required
* Must be available to take call for STEMI or Vascular cases
* Every 4th weekend coverage required
* Up to two pre-approved days off allowed
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must have Cath Lab experience
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS
* Required skills include: cardioversion, circulating procedures, diagnostic cardiac cath lab, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac cath lab, interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, monitoring procedural sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and right heart catheterization
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census ranges from 20 to 30 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within scope based on facility needs

The facility provides advanced cardiac services and maintains a high daily census, supported by a robust interdisciplinary team. The unit is well-equipped to handle a wide range of cardiac procedures and emergencies, including STEMI and vascular cases, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
