Opportunity:
Radiology
Job Details:
* Work 8-hour evening shifts in an acute care setting
* Patients are scheduled 1 per hour to allow room to work in inpatients and ER patients
* Typically 15 Radiology Techs scheduled per 24 hours
* Rad Techs with CT experience may be scheduled at 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM; non-CT Rad Techs may be scheduled at 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM; graveyard shifts depend on experience
* Ultrasound Techs work a half shift on Saturday mornings; if proficient and radiologist-approved, may have the ability to be on standby/call on weekends
* Holidays covered by call
* Serve all typical hospital patients including ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient
* Use Cerner EMR system for charting
* CT equipment: Siemens 64-slice and 128-slice scanners
* Ultrasound equipment: Philips
* Hospital will provide scrubs
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and Fluoroscopy permit
* Rad Techs must be certified by the State of CA
* Ultrasound Techs must hold ARDMS certification
* Mammography Techs must be certified through the State of CA
* Fluoroscopy permit strongly preferred for basic Rad Techs to perform OR and routine work
* CT and Mammography dual certification is a strong plus
* Venipuncture experience is a plus but not required
* OR experience is highly desirable
* Tomography training is a plus for Mammography Techs

The department supports a wide range of imaging needs across multiple areas including the emergency room, operating room, and inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility maintains state-of-the-art imaging equipment and provides scrubs to all radiology staff, ensuring a well-supported and professional work environment.
