Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

PT - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend and holiday rotations
* Weekend rotations approximately every 5th or 6th weekend
* Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
* Current North Carolina state license required
* BLS certification required
* Work in a CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient recovery
* Treat patients of all diagnoses, primarily those with neurological conditions including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord dysfunction
* Additional patient populations include those recovering from amputations, debility from medical conditions, orthopedic fractures, and major multiple traumas
* Patients are seen for a combination of therapy services for a minimum of 3 hours daily
* Work within a small 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
* Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Facility:

This facility operates a CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit that serves patients from both its own acute care hospital and surrounding hospitals in the community. The unit focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care through an interdisciplinary team approach, specializing in neurological and orthopedic recovery. The 10-bed unit provides a collaborative and patient-centered environment where therapy professionals work together to support each patient's recovery journey.
