Opportunity:
Cath Lab RN
Job Details:
* Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Occasional weekend STEMI coverage required with participation in STEMI call when scheduled
* On-call required Monday through Saturday for post-PCI patients that need to be brought back into the Cath Lab
* Call required 2-3 days per week
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Cath Lab team consists of 3 full-time nurses with 1 procedure room and a pre/post procedure area with 4 bays
* Pre/post area staffed by 2 registered nurses
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 4 patients
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Required skills include circulating procedures, scrubbing procedures, monitoring procedural sedation, and procedural sedation administration
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks with called-off hours able to be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
Facility:
This acute care hospital operates with 286 staffed beds and provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The Cath Lab unit features a dedicated procedure room supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains high standards of patient care across all departments.
