Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Tech - Cardiology Clinic

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 40 hours per week available
* 13-week contracts accepted
* Schedule based on clinic needs
* No call, float, or weekend requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:4 with an average daily census of 10-12 patients
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Perform cardiology studies including rest/stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies
* Perform myocardial skills including exercise/rest multiple, exercise/rest single, and pharmacological stress
* Start and maintain peripheral IVs and handle storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
* Work with special equipment including hot lab equipment, dose calibrator, well counter, and two Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras
* Use EPIC electronic health record system (preferred experience)
* Royal Blue scrubs preferred; scrubs are not provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (N) or CNMT
* Preferred certifications: ACLS
* Required skills: Adult and Nuclear Cardiology, rest/stress and Amyloid (PYP) procedures
* Preferred skills: Outpatient clinic experience
* In-clinic orientation is 40 hours
* Interview required prior to offer; provide availability for next 72 hours upon submission

This outpatient cardiology clinic specializes exclusively in nuclear cardiology studies, including stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies. The facility serves adult and geriatric patients presenting with a broad range of cardiovascular diagnoses, most commonly coronary artery disease, pre-operative clearance needs, chest pain, and shortness of breath. The clinic is equipped with advanced imaging technology and maintains a structured, focused environment dedicated to providing high-quality cardiac care.
