Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Float required to sister hospital campus as needed based on census concerns
* Float will only occur to units where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT N, BLS, CNMT, NMTCB
* Medication system: Omnicell
* Documentation system: EPIC
* Scrubs: Hunter Green
* Must be proficient with skills including: 3 Phase imaging, adult patient care, drawing venous blood, DTPA Aerosol, exercise/rest studies (multiple and single), flow/function studies, gastric emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, isolation precautions/PPE, liver imaging, nuclear cardiology, perfusion studies, pharmacological stress testing, Philips equipment, renal/perfusion imaging, starting and maintaining IVs, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials, uptake scans, ventilation/perfusion, whole body imaging, and studies with Lasix
* Serves patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
* Community hospital experience preferred
* 40 orientation hours required

This healthcare facility is a large hospital system with 109 beds and a daily census of approximately 90 patients. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
