RN - MS/Tele
Job Details:
* Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
* Charge experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum of 8 weekend shifts every six weeks required (combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
* Float may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* No on-call required
* One pre-approved time off allowed
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Common patient diagnoses include sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, stroke, and COVID
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Missouri or Compact License
* Required skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Feeding tube care and management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Sheath Removal, Telemetry, and Telemetry on-unit monitoring
* Special procedures include NIH Stroke Scale
* Special equipment used includes Virtual Nurses, 12-lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, and Omnicell
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
