CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Wednesday and Thursday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Friday through Sunday shifts from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every weekend required with every 3rd weekend worked
* No on-call requirements
* Block scheduling not allowed
* Overnight weekend position is currently open with flexibility on the remaining two days
* Daily caseload of 50 patients across 2 rooms
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float within radiology department or to an affiliate hospital nearby as needed
* Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, OR, ER, and Community Hospital
* Cannon CT System experience required
* Charting system experience required: Epic
* PACS experience required
* IV starts experience preferred
* Toshiba scanner experience preferred
* Required CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs
* Skills include 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, colonography, myelography, and radiation safety
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS
* 1 supervisor reference minimum required at time of submission
* 16 orientation hours required

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a community hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency department and surgical care. The radiology department operates with two CT rooms and supports a daily census of 25 patients with up to 50 visits per day. The facility provides interdisciplinary support through its radiology team and maintains a patient-focused environment serving a wide range of age groups.
