Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technician

Job Details:

* Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required with at least two of the following four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
* Minimum 18 months of experience in specialty required; 2 years preferred
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours per week for 8 or 10-hour shifts
* Weekend requirements can be discussed with manager
* Call requirement is on a case-by-case basis with no set schedule, but is required
* Will float within scope to meet facility needs across all 3 hospital locations within 20 miles
* Scrub color: Ceil Blue
* Charting system: EPIC
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS; RCVT or RCIS preferred
* Skills required include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Rotablator atherectomy, Scrub procedures, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
* EKG and Pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of candidate submission; requests added later will likely not be approved
* Required modules must be completed prior to start date and are recorded via SilkRoad
* 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director required
* Nicotine-free facility; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

This short-term acute care facility operates across three hospital campuses within 20 miles of each other, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment for traveling clinicians. The facility has 180 staffed beds and utilizes EPIC for charting, providing a modern and efficient clinical setting. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and requires staff to demonstrate strong competency in their specialty area.
