RN - Pediatric OR

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM
* Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends required
* Variable shifts based on department need, with rotation by week when possible
* 1 to 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Ability to float to other UCSF campuses and facilities required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Pediatric General OR experience required
* Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* California RN license required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: BLS, PALS
* CNOR certification preferred
* Patients served include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Services include Neurology, Ortho/Spine, Otolaryngology, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cardiac, General Surgery, GI, and Hematology/Oncology

Facility:

This nationally recognized children's hospital operates 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms, providing comprehensive pediatric surgical care across a wide range of specialties. The facility takes a multidisciplinary team-based approach to staffing and patient care, serving some of the most complex pediatric cases in the region. The organization is part of a large university health system with multiple campuses, offering staff the opportunity to work within a dynamic academic medical environment.
