Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM as needed
* On-call required: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4 to 6 weeks, including holidays
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* Travel experience required
* Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
* Must possess a WV Medical Imaging/RT license to operate fluoroscopy machines in the lab
* Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of experience required
* Perform endovascular procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology and endovascular peripheral intervention
* Monitor patient hemodynamic status, document during procedures, and scrub to assist the physician
* Required work setting experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Special Procedures
* Preferred work setting experience: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Interventional Radiology
* Required skills include: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Laser Assisted Procedures, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Pulmonary Artery (PA) Line Insertion, Rotablator Atherectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, IVC Filter Placement, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), and Room Circulator/Scrub responsibilities
* Equipment experience required: Siemens imaging systems and PACS
* EMR system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, ARRT R
* Preferred certification: ARRT CI
* Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Medium physical work required: frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lift of 50 lbs
