Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts with an expected volume of 30-40+ scans per shift
* Self-scheduling based on seniority
* May be asked to volunteer for shifts outside of contracted start times - indicate availability for days and nights at time of submission
* Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Very high volume, fast-paced environment
* May be asked to perform own patient transport based on staffing needs
* Must be able to work independently and efficiently
* Community hospital experience required
* GE and Toshiba equipment used (1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed)
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Mostly emergency department patients with some outpatients; high volume primary stroke receiving center
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Weekends may exceed every other to meet unit needs
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Facility may call off once every two-week pay period (guaranteed hours policy)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Charting system: Epic
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Free parking available
* Required skills include: abdomen/chest/head/pelvis CT with and without contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, PACS, and preparation/administration of contrast media

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 212 staffed beds and operates a very busy imaging department that serves primarily emergency department patients along with some outpatient volume. The facility functions as a high-volume primary stroke receiving center and utilizes Epic for charting. Transport support is available for the imaging department, though technologists are encouraged to assist with transport when needed. The facility maintains modern imaging equipment to support a wide range of CT procedures.
