Opportunity:
Radiology/Cardiology - MRI Tech
Job Details:
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Block scheduling is not available
* Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Candidate's home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS
* Required charting system experience: Epic
* Required equipment experience: GE MRI, Philips MRI
* Perform MRI procedures across a broad range of body areas including abdomen, brain, breast, spine, and extremities
* Perform advanced MRI techniques including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, diffusion, and perfusion imaging
* Prepare and/or administer contrast media
* Start peripheral IVs as needed
* Maintain radiation safety protocols
* Serve patients in adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient settings
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
