Open Position: RN - Infusion

Opportunity:

Ambulatory Infusion Center RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule with no weekends and no holidays
* Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year of infusion experience
* First-time travelers accepted
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of 25 patients across 13 beds
* Treat patients with diagnoses including Oncology, MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant, and Obstetric conditions
* Administer emergency treatment for reactions, iron infusions, drugs for MS/GI/Neuro/Transplant, and IV fluids
* Required skills include accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, coagulation factors, antibiotics, corticosteroids, infusion pump management, PICC line care, central line blood draws, and starting and maintaining IVs
* Required certifications: BLS
* REMS training for Tysabri administration will be provided if not already obtained
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* May be required to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

This ambulatory infusion center provides specialized outpatient infusion therapy services to a diverse patient population. The facility supports a wide range of complex medical conditions including oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, transplant, and obstetric care. With a daily census of 25 patients and a team-focused environment, the center is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
