RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required
* Float to Postpartum as needed based on facility needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Valid KS or Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP
* AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
* High Risk Labor & Delivery Unit covering OB Triage, Postpartum, and Level 2 Special Care Nursery
* Care of laboring patients including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater
* Perform and support C-Sections and External Cephalic Versions
* Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults
* 50 mile local radius enforced - local candidates not accepted

Facility:

This facility operates a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit that includes OB Triage, Postpartum, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. The unit is equipped to manage complex obstetric conditions and provides comprehensive care for patients from 34 weeks gestation and beyond. The facility supports a wide range of obstetric procedures and neonatal care needs, maintaining a strong interdisciplinary approach to maternal and newborn health.
