Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met
* Patient ratio of 1:4 consistent across days, nights, and weekends
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* May float to sister facilities per unit needs within the North Region based on facility needs
* Care for patients across all age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIHSS
* Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, isolation precautions and PPE, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, triage, and computerized documentation
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary

This healthcare facility operates a 50-bed emergency department providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics. The facility supports a daily census of 175 patients and offers robust interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more. The organization is part of a larger regional health system with multiple affiliated facilities across the North Region.
