Open Position: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Opportunity:

ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with potential for earlier start depending on first scheduled study
* Coverage required every 3rd Saturday
* On-call requirement every 3rd day
* Acute care setting
* Perform echocardiograms and TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms) only - no floating to other departments
* Average of 15 to 20 studies per day
* Work across 2 rooms and 1 holding area for a total of 3 scanning areas
* Use EPIC charting system and PACS imaging software
* Operate Philips equipment
* Pediatric echocardiography experience required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS-AE (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Adult Echocardiography) via ARDMS
* Additional certifications preferred: ARDMS, RCS, RDMS, RDCS or RCS via CCI, VS, RVT, AE, and PE
* Must be able to perform standard echocardiograms and TEEs
* Pediatric echo experience is a strong plus
* Valid unexpired driver's license required at time of submission
* Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission

This acute care facility operates a dedicated cardiac sonography department equipped with modern Philips imaging technology and multiple scanning areas to support a high volume of daily studies. The department works closely with the catheter laboratory team, collaborating with registered nurses for procedures such as stress echocardiograms. The facility utilizes EPIC as its primary charting system alongside a PACS imaging system to ensure efficient and accurate diagnostic workflows.
