Opportunity:
Interventional Radiology Technologist
Job Details:
* First shift position with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday
* Day off will vary each week and will not be the same day off each week
* Weekends and evenings/nights on-call rotation required
* Primary call rotates approximately one day every 4 weeks and every 5th-6th weekend
* Back-up call is approximately 7 days (including a weekend) every 9 weeks
* Daily case load of 13-17 patients
* Majority of patient population is adults and geriatrics with some adolescents
* Must be proficient in both Neuro (including stroke intervention) and Body procedures
* Required skills include: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic procedures, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
* Minimum 1 year of scrub experience required, with scrub experience on Neuro cases
* Neuro and Stroke experience in IR is a hard stop requirement
* Inpatient hospital experience, PACS, and contrast experience required
* Siemens and Philips X-ray equipment experience required
* Acuson equipment experience preferred
* EPIC and McKesson experience preferred
* ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
* Scrubs are provided
* No float requirement
* Locals accepted at a lower rate (within 50 miles)
Facility:
This facility operates a comprehensive Interventional Radiology department offering a wide range of advanced imaging and procedural services. The department provides round-the-clock coverage through a structured call rotation system and supports a high daily case volume across both neurological and body procedures. The facility is equipped with Siemens and Philips imaging technology and offers a structured orientation program during the first week to ensure all team members are prepared for the clinical environment.
