Open Position: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with scheduled call at night and on weekends
* Department operates 7 days per week
* 13-week assignment
* Perform cardiac ultrasound testing on patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric
* Work with high acuity patients being treated for cardiac problems
* Exposure to body fluids and blood is expected due to the stat nature of procedures
* Must be a team player and flexible in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
* Minimum 2 years of experience or accredited coursework in echocardiography required
* Must maintain a current registry or certification in Adult Echo
* Must maintain a current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound
* Must be working toward attaining registries in all accredited areas
* Required certifications: ARDMS or ARRT, BLS
* Follow assigned unit dress code and present a professional image

Facility:

This facility is the largest medical center in the region, operating as a full-service hospital with 318 patient beds. It serves as the regional healthcare hub for southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. The facility is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level I ICU, and the only emergency room in the area. It also features the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children and offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care through a 74-bed Behavioral Health Center.
