Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Daily caseload of 8-12 cases
* Procedures include coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker placement
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Call required up to 4 days per week depending on need
* Up to 2 weekends required in a 6-week schedule
* No floating required
* Self-scheduling
* 30-hour orientation
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Scrubs provided for Cath Lab
* Free parking provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, ACLS (RCIS alone not accepted; RCIS with 5+ years of experience may be considered)
* Pending Fluoro Permit candidates will be considered if permit has already been applied for at time of submission
* Key skills include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac cath lab, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, peripheral interventions, permanent pacemaker insertion, hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, and maintaining sterile field
* Preferred skills include coil embolization, peripherals, and hemodynamic monitoring

The organization utilizes Epic for charting and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
